Location: Hobbysew Kings Park, Top Ryde and Adelaide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and hands-on classes in sewing, quilting, embroidery, or related crafts.  
  • Assist and mentor participants of all skill levels, ensuring an enjoyable learning experience.  
  • Prepare materials and resources for classes, ensuring smooth sessions.

Casual Retail Assistant - Hobbysew Adelaide
Specialising in Sewing Machines & Customer Support

We are seeking an enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistant to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a background in retail and a genuine interest in sewing and related products.

 

About the Role:

  • Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with product enquiries and purchases

  • Demonstrate and sell sewing machines and accessories

  • Operate POS systems and maintain accurate sales transactions

  • Assist with stock management and store presentation

  • Support customers with basic troubleshooting and product knowledge

 

About You:

  • Previous experience in retail (sewing machine or related sales experience highly regarded)

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Confident computer skills (POS, email, MS Office or similar)

  • Ability to learn product features and explain them clearly to customers

  • Flexible, reliable, and able to work weekends or peak retail periods as required

Hobbysew Adelaide is seeking a store person to assist with a range of tasks on a casual basis. Your primary role will be assisting with furniture sales and online orders.

Location: Hobbysew Adelaide, SA.
